TAR Leadership Conference

The Blue Valley West Teenage Republicans have attended the Teenage Republican Leadership Conference (TLC) for the past 2 years. The week-long conference is held annually in Washington D.C. During the past four years, the BVW TARS have fundraised over $18,000 and sent 20 delegates to the conference (5 in 2004, 7 in 2005, 5 in 2006, 3 in 2007).

TLC is a great opportunity for TARS around the nation to learn about club development, hear from top echelon Republican officials, and create memories to last a lifetime. The BVW TARS have heard from Reagan Cabinet Members, Senate and House Leadership, conservative media personalities, and more during the past four years.

Currently, the BVW TARS have started their fundraising efforts for TLC 2007. Once the school year starts, the BVW TARS leadership will determine how many delegates will represent the club next year. Though the number of delegates is unknown, the likely cost will exceed $5,000.
